Younger, ploughman, Creich, and Janet Smith - living in Forgan parish when he came of age (14), claimed therefore that Forgan is liable for his family's expenses now that he is deceased. He joined the army in 1821 and was discharged 13 Jul 1842. He died at Cupar on or about 18 Jun 1847 leaving a widow and 4 children of 14, 8, 4 and 7 months. Family lived in Forgan parish Martinmas 1808 to Martinmas 1825. Claim refuted - his grandfather is liable and his 'industrial residence' is Ferryport. | HR388/1 |
