May 1939. Housing conditions: 59 houses were unfit, most have been closed or demolished within the past 5 years. |
Public conveniences: West Braes, Woodhaven is suitable. |
Fire engine: joint with Tayport. Tayport didn't agree to all conditions. |
Local fuel overseer: Bailie Wilkie - office in Nicoll & Smibert's shop. |
? Fire service with Guardbridge factory? |
St Mary's Lane: cinema licence applied for. |
