The Newport on Tay and Wormit War Memorial by Gordon Small, 2008, has biographies and photographs of those recorded on the World War 1 and 2 memorials. It is available from the Tay Valley Family History Society (ISBN 978-1-905997-38-1).
The Newport History Group's Poppy Project was a major community remembrance project which commemorated many of the people named on the War Memorials. It contains a lot of information about the casualties and is highly recommended.
