Cupar 28 October 1830 … James Scott, wright, Tayfield, procurator and attorney for Andrew Corstorphin of the Royal Marines residing Kingsbarns … & David Black, wright, Tayfield, bailie … bond & disp by John Murray, mason Marytown … wherein Murray was to repay to Andrew Corstorphin £200 stg … + £40 in event of failure & due & legal annualrent of the principal sum … to recoup this money, Murray disp. to Corstorphin … that lot of ground & 2 dwelling houses thereon, part of these 2 lots of ground of Marytown feued by John Murray from Robert Dalgleish … feu 19 June 1826 (recorded 7 August 1826) … which lot is 80' in front and 94' of medium depth, 23 falls 7 ells, : E by 30' road, : S by 24' road, : N & W by ground to said John Murray … [first sasine records the 2 dwelling houses as 'presently building'] … RS 32/181/17
