Cupar 7 Nov 1834 … On 22 Oct 1834 appeared personally Alexander Kidd wright Newport for himself & as procurator & as attorney for John Kidd his son, also Robert Graham, servant to Mrs McGregor vintner Newport, bailie … said Alexander Kidd having disp & settl reg. in Sheriff Court Book of Fife on 10 Sep 1834 made by John Kidd wright Strathkinness, proprietor of subjects to said Alexander Kidd his son & John Kidd son of Alexander Kidd … John Kidd granted to Alexander Kidd in liferent & John Kidd in fee … all & whole pce grnd lying in the park immediately behind the village of Maryton marked lot 20 on plan of said park laid out for feuing, with the dwelling houses & others erected by said John Kidd … grnd measuring 1 acre 34 falls, bounded W by W-most street or approach from Maryton to said park, bounded E by lot 19, bounded S & N by land owned by Dalgleish … free ish & entry by said W-most approach from Maryton … (to said Janet Kidd or her foresaids heritable male with real actual in … possession of all & whole the foresaid house barn shop & piece of ground together with the additional house built thereon …) .
