| Disposition by Euphemia Gellatly to George Brown jun. At Edinburgh 15 Mar 1879 - I, Miss Euphemia Gellatly formerly residing at Newport now at Craigmore Rothesay … £900 instantly paid to me by George Brown jun, mercantile clerk in Dundee & residing Newport as the price of said subjects hereby sell & dispone to George Brown jun & heirs … all & whole pce grnd 30.5 pol the E-most of all & whole pce grnd containing 61 pol lot 18 on feuing plan prepared by William Scott architect in Dundee of that pt of lands of Craighead laid out as building lots … for a contract feuing of the whole ground (8 & 11 May 1866) between Clydesdale Banking Co & Charles Alexander printer in Dundee … the E-most portion : on N by t/p leading to Tayport, on E by lot 17 on plan marked off by march stones & a mutual wall, : on W by the W-most half of the pce grnd marked off by march stones, : on S by a road or street 25' in width, one half of which so far as it bounds the ground hereby disponed is included in the measurement, together with the dw ho & offices erected by said Charles Alexander … all as specified in the sasine recorded 5 Jul 1866 … entry at Whitsunday 1879 … feu duty £3-16-3 .. previous disp was by Charles Alexander to me recorded 28 May 1867 … signed at Rothesay 12 Mar 1879, witnesses Simon Wilson, merchant Rothesay, & James Gellatly Ewing residing at Craigmore, Rothesay...
