| Cupar 4 February 1836 … On 20 January 1836 appeared James Johnston, shoemaker Woodend Fifeshire as procurator for Barbara Mackie widow of Thomas Just, feuar at Justfield, & James Duncan residing at Woodend as bailie … a feu by Thomas Just to Barbara Mackie & Robert Just his son of (1) all & whole the W half of that small park, part of the croft of Broadhaugh, bounded by the High Road on S, by a stone dyke on N, by William Just's subjects on W, and the E half of said park (disp. 1 February 1817 to David Just) on E … 10/- feu duty … and also (2) all & whole that 2-storey house lately built by him [Thomas Just] with the yard belonging thereto, part of the lands of Wellgate, bounded by a hedge on E, by a stone dyke on N, by a road 5' wide on W, and by a straight line from the corner of the quarry on S; … pt of that piece of land Wellgate feued by said Thomas Just from John Lyon, Kinnaird … 7/6d.
