| Cupar 30 October 1863 … John Berry, superior, late William Just jun residing Newport, son of David Just residing Newport, was last vassal entered in said lands & others, said William Just executed a trust disposition & deed of settl. 26 July 1843 - conveyed inter alia lands herein described to George, John, David & Thomas Just, his brothers & survivors, & Margaret, Jane, Ann & Elizabeth Just his sisters equally among them & heirs … but (George, John David & Thomas as trustees) were infeft of sasine 15 September 1843; … trust disp lost … George & David the only surviving trustees applied for charter of confirmation … granted … for themselves & Ann Just, only surviving sister, and heirs … (1) all & whole the Wellgate Park enclosed with a stone dyke on 3 sides & a hedge on the E side, & houses thereon (2) & also the croft & houses of Broadhaugh bounded by land of Robert Russell on E, lands feued by John Kinnaird to - on W, by the highway which divides it from the Wellgate Park on S, and by the high water mark on N, … right of shipping … entry 1 January 1861 … to frequent the mill of Seamill with their corn & pay the accustomed multures … RS 32/341/54 |
