| 23 Ded 1868 … Mrs Christina Baird / Harris wife of John Harris mason Newport & John Harris [have sold] … for £25 … to William Harris mason Newport & heirs the pce grnd on N side of the public road Woodhaven - Newport, being the middle of 5 front lots of grnd into which the whole subjects hereinafter mentioned is divided, bounded the lot hereby disponed on S by said public road extending along it -- feet; on E by common entrance or passage leading to the ground at the back & through which the proprietors of the various lots have the right of ish & entry to their ground … & extending said ground from the bank N to the river Tay; on N by the high water mark; on W partly by the E gable wall of Thomas Harris' house & partly by his ground at the N thereof, & also with entrance to the grnd at the back by a road at the W end of Alexander Harris' lot & through his ground, & with rightto a well at the back for drawing water, & which grnd is pt of all & whole the garden ground at Broadhaughs as described in decr. in favour of Jane Baird & Mrs Christina Baird / Harris 6 Feb 1867 & regd. sasines 25 Sep 1867.
